Fix It

I'm sure that those of you who are parents understand the joy that you feel when your children recognize that you can fix anything. I get that same joy through my sister's kids. She told me one day that Julian had told her he wanted me and my friend to fix one of his toys. I felt so honored.

I didn't have a photo to commemorate the story but found one of him busily playing that was just right anyway.

The color scheme was based on this month's color challenge (issued by Trina) at Scrapbooker's Clubhouse.

I used scraps - MME Kaleidoscope and KI Memories (stars), Stamps - MM and Autumn Leaves, Alpha Stickers - Basic Grey. Shape paper is Jenni Bowlin. And I used my sewing machine! This is a rarity!

BUT I had a great time stitching and sewing. So much so that I even made a card with all stitching and no glue (with the exception of the glue dots holding the flowers on.
